About me
Thank you for taking the time to read about me, my work, my life passions and achievements. I consider myself a fan of almost anything that requires electricity to function and I am thankful that life has given me the opportunity to specialise in the field of IT infrastructure, especially infrastructure solutions around Microsoft as a vendor. I am an energetic and spirited hobbyist, a kind of person that knew his path from a very early age. I started my technology journey in 1992 with Basic programming language and MS Disk OS. I grew up with Windows OS from it's first versions and understood it inside and out, until the last versions of desktop or server. The journey in technology has been full of new experiences, from the first migration of a Novel Directory to Microsoft Active Directory, to the birth of virtualisation and containerisation, up until serverless applications. I managed to certify all of my technology skills and obtain all the relevant certifications in my field, from MCSE to ITIL. In the last few years, I managed a team of 30 engineers and grew my soft skills on top of the technical skills, to a level that gave me enough confidence to call myself a Technologist. My fast paced journey into the digital economy is becoming richer and more challenging every day, and I really hope that my experience and knowledge can help you, my dear visitor, into your quest to digitalisation.

Innocent Drinks
My first job that I selected due to my ecological concerns. I was closer to the decision factor and in need of a faster pace, in a B Rated Company. Involved in the design, documentation and deployment of a a full cloud transition (OnPrem Microsoft house to Azure) and a from the scratch deployment of a SOC team, based on IBM QRadar and Azure Sentinel. Involved in multiple project at the same time, from NetApp decommissioning to migration to OneDrive and closure of onprem datacenters.

Atos took my work experience to the next level, the profesional services world, with multi million dollars projects, hundred of customers, delegations all over Europe, Middle East and the Americas. I was part of the British Broadcasting Corporation outsourcing of IT services.. My involvement was as a Domain Administrator, VMware Specialist and Security Specialist, managing an infrastructure of more de 60k users and 5k servers, spread all over the globe and I was delegated to build a team of engineer in Easter Europe for BBC.

BBC Technology was my first contact with a globally scaled infrastructure, , PKI and huge AD deployment and the first contact with the culture that is very dear to me, the British culture. I was part of the release management team, that worked in close contact with the technical architects office to test, document and deploy all new changes and software that were given into operations.
02.08.2010Bank of Transylvania
The Bank of Transylvania and it's respective "vampire" infrastructure has been my first encounter with very large, highly secure infrastructures. This was my first contact with ITIL, incident, change and problem management. My first large migration of 20k users from Novell to Active Directory on Windows NT was a huge step forward and a milestone in my career.
11.01.2008Sistec
The first job that gave me access to a real DataCentre was with Sistec. An infrastructure provider that had contracts with the major banking system in Eastern Europe. I started as a field engineer replacing faulty hardware, installing new networks and computing capacity. I was promoted a Systems Engineer designing Active Directory implementations and Databases.
01.01.2006University and Masters
These were the formal education years. Between 2004 and 2008 I have studied Computer Programming at the University "Vasile Goldis" in Arad, Romania, followed by a Masters Degree from 2008 to 2010 in the field of Web and Mobile Programming. In the spare time, I worked for multiple computer shops in my home town, assembling and troubleshooting PC's.
07.01.2004The Start
The spark that was triggered by my father who was excited to see his son in an engineering or computers industry job. He always told me he can see the future, a future where all jobs will be dependent on a computer. The first contact with a Commodore was instant love, and the spark that triggered that love is still consuming most of my time even in present times.
